Why does God reveal His plans ahead of time? So that His people can pray, prepare, and be properly positioned for what He is about to do. Like the sons of Issachar—who “understood the times and knew what Israel should do” (1 Chronicles 12:32)—we are called to discern the season we are entering.

The Lord revealed the number 26 to me as the combination of 20 + 6.

- The passing of mantles from one generation to the next
- Preparation for greater service in the Kingdom of God
In Numbers 20, Moses transferred Aaron’s priestly mantle to his son, Eleazar—a powerful picture of generational transition. Similarly, 1 Chronicles 23:26 records David’s final instructions that Levites aged 20 and older were to be registered for service, signaling readiness and responsibility.
This is also a decade of wealth transfer for the building of God’s Church. In 1 Kings 5:11, Solomon provided massive resources to support the construction of the Temple. God is still funding His work today—and He often does it through obedient, prepared believers.
The Significance of “6”
The number 6 is the number of man. Humanity was created on the sixth day, and man labored six days before entering Sabbath rest.
In 2026, the Lord is emphasizing human responsibility partnered with divine increase. This is not a year for passivity—but neither is it a year for striving in our own strength.
Man puts forth the effort.
God brings the increase.
Genesis 26: Prosperity in the Midst of Famine
One of the most powerful prophetic pictures for 2026 is found in Genesis chapter 26.
During a time of famine, Isaac obeyed God and remained in the land. Scripture tells us that he sowed in that same year—and reaped a hundredfold harvest (Genesis 26:12).
As Isaac prospered, jealousy followed. The Philistines stopped up his wells, and King Abimelech asked him to leave because he had become “too powerful.” Yet Isaac did not strive. He kept moving forward, digging new wells, until he reached a place he named Rehoboth, meaning:
“Now the Lord has made room for us, and we will flourish in the land.”
The Prophetic Application for 2026
This year will be marked by:
- God’s favor during difficult times
- Resistance and jealousy from others
- Attempts by the enemy to block your blessings
But like Isaac, if you continue in obedience and avoid unnecessary strife, the Lord will bring you to a place of peaceful prosperity.
That “place” may be:
- A new physical location
- A career or ministry shift
- A renewed mindset
Wherever God positions you, there will be room to flourish.
Your Part to Play in 2026: Faith, Work, and Wisdom
The number 6 reminds us that God expects us to participate. Isaac sowed seed and dug wells—that was his part.
In 2026:
- Pray and ask God where to sow financially for His Kingdom
- Continue working diligently and faithfully
- Do not allow fear of economic uncertainty to paralyze you
Seek wise counsel. Pray strategically. Think long-term. Even during economic shaking, God creates opportunities for wealth transfer.
Deuteronomy 26: First Fruits and Thanksgiving
Deuteronomy 26 teaches us the power of honoring God with first fruits and tithes. When the people entered the land, they were instructed to bring the first of their increase before the Lord with gratitude and worship.
This posture of thanksgiving and obedience releases joy, provision, and blessing for households and communities alike.
Isaiah 26: Perfect Peace in a Shifting World
As we move through 2026, focus will be essential.
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You” (Isaiah 26:3).
This is a year to trust deeply, obey fully, and allow the Lord to smooth your path as you walk uprightly before Him.
The Biblical Gematria of 26: A Legacy That Lasts
In Hebrew gematria, the number 26 is deeply significant. Three prominent biblical names share this numeric value:
